The AlphaBlend feature is nice but two REALLY needed suggestions :

1. I want to be able to choose the % of the AlphaBlend for each window separately (Desktop mode).

2. There should be an option where you can totaly "hide" the chat window (Desktop mode) and ONLY its text showned. In this mode, I should too be able to set the AlphaBlend % for text of each window.

Add these options and mIRC should be able to fit nicely on any windows with any Theme or Skin.

[*] 1. You can, using an undocumented command, /setlayer.
/setlayer <N> <windowname>
N is number between 0 and 255, with 255 being completely transparent, 0 being completely opaque
e.g.
//window -do @@1 10 50 200 80 | window -do @@2 220 50 200 80 | setlayer 220 @@1 | setlayer 110 @@2

No, the thing is... I know how to AlphaBlend the window. I want it to be transparent. as in, NO background OR window. BUT ONLY and ONLY the text and edit box to be showned! that is cool, then it will be a part of the background. Don't you think ? smile
