When I DCC send a file there is no problems but when the transfer gets interrupted for some reson and I try to resume the DCC send to that person it fails and I get a , possible lamer DCC resume and some numbers. I checked the forum and didn't find anything that helped. One thread thou had a similar problem and suggested the use of /debug -p @debug
to find out more about the error message. Funny enough this helped and the resume starded as usual. Both of us use mIRC 6.12 and I have tried with most of my friends but this one just has that problem. Is there another solution then having the @debug window open all of the time?

@debug doesn't solve problems, it's a tool that displays the communication between mIRC and the IRC server, helping you to point out problems.

The "possible lamer" message you are talking about was likely produced by a script. If that script is causing the problem, you'd have to unload it.

Well that's why it's strange because without the debug it fails and I get a error message and with the debug it displays the error in the debug window and the resume works. Am I the only one with this wierd problem?

So far it seems you're the only one, but today another guy complained he can't DCC send on v6.12. Maybe your problems are related...

Anyway, what's the exact error message you get? The relevant @debug lines would help too.

ditch the lame script you're running and you won't get that
