I have mIRC set to make directories based on the servers mIRC connects to. But when I went to check my logs I noticed that instead of it logging the way I have set, it saves it's logs as #chan.server.log in the main log file. Using mIRC 6.11, WinXP.

I can also reproduce this, seems mIRC is totally ignoring the 'Make Folder' setting, however $mklogfn(blah) still returns the proper path and filename.

Yep, same here. $mklogfn() "makes" the (supposed) correct filename, but $window().logfile returns the actual file being used.
$mklogfn() = Network\window.date.log
$window().logfile = C:\...\logs\window.network.date.log

And to reinforce, I've had the same thing =)

Hasn't really bothered me though heh. mIRC 6.1, XP Pro.

Same here, it completely messed up my files crazy

Here's how it's reproduced:
  • Alt+O - [+] IRC - Logging: [x] Include network and [x] Create folder.

    /server my.irc.network
    /join #chan
    /log on

    * Logging #chan to logs\network\#chan.log
    /log off
    * Logging for #chan halted
    /log on
    * Logging #chan to logs\#chan.network.log
