I have read the prior threads on the topic of 'hiding idle time' in the whois and was wondering if anyone could maybe add to the solution. please, thanks, and all that jazz ... :tongue:

As stated in the other threads its impossible to "hide" idle time at a client-side level. If you dont want your idle time shown, you need to confront the IRC server on the issue. If aiming to remove the idle time by constantly sending a command to the server every second, good luck. Most have protetions to prevent people from doing this.

I was not aiming for malintent in any sort of way... just was curious. Endless distraction to the server is not my goal, in fact trying to avoid such.
