I am currently using mIRC 6.1 to connect to 3 or 4 diffrent networks at once and it works great...my question is.....can you have a different nickname on each network and if so how?

I tried (/server -m new.server.name), changed nick on one network by typing /nick newnick in a channel, my nick on that net changed, my nick on the other did not. Therefor I assume the answer to your questions is YES smile

/server -m is used if your already connected to a server.

Correction.

/server -n opens a new window
/server -m <server> opens a new window and connects to the given server or connects to the currently active server if one isn't stated

You can do this...
/server -m irc.server.net -i nick anick email fullname
Opens a new connection to irc.server.net, using the nickname altnickname email[/b]@address fullname
