I'm not sure if this is a mIRC issue.. or a windows issue.. but umm.. In my mIRC logs folder... some filenames are in blue.. even the folder name itself is in blue.. my default filename text color is black.. does anyone know why? I use WinXP Home... and the latest version of mIRC (v6.1) I'll provide pics of it.
Hope i did the pic thing right.... the pics were croped to save loading time..

Try right-clicking one of the blue files, and select Properties.

Are the Read-Only or Hidden or System attributes set?
Is the Archive attribute unset?

In the future, post screen shots and other web images in .GIF .JPG or .PNG

I just looked at them and assuming you're using Windows XP.
They're blue because they're compressed. Encrypted would be green.
Right click log folder > properties > advanced > compress or encrypt attributes.

oh and.. i tried to save it as a .jpg file.. everytime i do after pressing the print screen button.. and pasting the result in "Paint" then try to save it as .jpg or anything else... it loses colors... if i knew how to fix that.. then i would start saving it as .jpg .gif ect.

There are many graphics programs out there that surpass Windows Paint.

Most popular software include ACDSEE, Retriever, Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
I'm certain others exist that make screen captures easier too.
