I have been through this section to see if this is in it and it isn't. When I turn OFF DCC ignore by "Options", "DCC" and tick Show Get dialog, to select the Ignore ALL to a blank button, it turns BACK ON to Ignore ALL when I reconnect. The "Options", "Other", "lock" has NOTHING ticked. I now consider this to be a BUG and NOT an OPERATOR ERROR. It happens ALL the time and it is doing this ONLY in 6.1. Version 6.03 doesn't HAVE this problem!

mIRC Options > DCC > Ignore
See where it says 'Turn ignore back on in:'
Either de-select that or change the time below.

In 6.03, this option is in mIRC Options > DCC > Folders

Maybe try to toggle it ...
Select it ... Save ... De-Select it ... Save

Edit: Also, try using the search engine on this forum to see if maybe this subject has already been addressed .. it's possible.

[i]Edit:
Also read this.

Is your mirc.ini file set with the Read-Only attribute enabled?

Well. At least I won lunch.
Good philosophy, see good in bad, I like!

To put it simply, Read Only IS OFF. I don't set it to on as that screws up any changes.

It wouldn't be the first time someone made a backup onto CD-R, recovered files from that backup... which concequently have the Read-Only attribute set On.

I just thought I'd ask.
