I'm running an fserv bot based on polaris ctcp (*shudder* I know.. x.x took me forever to make it useful ;p) and I was wondering if there was some kind of special command or setting I'm missing to make the max cps work in the DCC options area.. I already checked the syntax on the /dcc send and there's no -l setting for the max cps bypass switch, so it can't be that... I have it set to a max of 15000 CPS, but it still is eating up all 45k of my precious bandwidth x.x Thx to anyone who has any ideas...
Btw, I have a moderate knowledge of scripting (made my own script, and trivia bot, and other things, hehe..) so you can take some liberties.. about the only stuff I'm not at least somewhat knowledgeable about are dialogs, raws and socks, and I dun think that has much to do with this topic, so if you think of an idea that requires scripting done, dun worry bout it, likely I can handle it.. ^^;

This is one of the quirks of khaled removing the -lN functionality.

Although the N has no effect, without it the max cps box is ignored.

The answer is to use "dcc send -l100 ..."

The number you use makes no difference, but it then takes notice if the max cps setting.
