with the versions before mirc, $asctime($calc($ctime($date) + ($sound($insong.fname).length / 1000)), nn:ss) used to return the lenght of the song playing, however, when doing this now, it doesnt work smirk

but $asctime($calc($insong.length / 1000),nn:ss) do work now, i don't know if this one worked before or not.

And i didnt see ant changes about $asctime in the versions.txt, so i suppose this a another bug in mirc 6.1

You're doing better than me :-/ It wasn't till I came across this post that it dawned on me that $sound().lenght is in 1000ths of a second. How many people need to know, or would ever use the value of how many 1000ths of a second a mp3 is long. Another real drag is the use of $asctime. Really sucks we can't get a parameter out of duration to do this with.

Cheers,
GregMo
