Forums mIRC Help ktools.dll - big problem in mIRC 6.1

I script alot with mdx and ktools, but in the new version i cannot use it for f.ex nicklist - i get a grey screen when i join a channel.... Is this a bug ????

What about the mirc.exe, why cant i change it to ReFlux.exe ????

Well the new version is nicely made up, just those 2 problems, make me not use the new version, untill it gets fixed someway, either the mirc gets fixed or the ktools, i dont know what is stopping it

ktools.dll doesnt have a version made for 6.1 so it wont work yet.
just make shortcuts and rename the shortcuts.

it means, ktools has been for previous versions of mirc, but due the new version of mirc and not a new version of ktools,it isnt made to work with the new version.

Whenever any software makes changes, other software may not work exactly as before with it. Review the changes in the versions.txt to see what may be in conflict. Be patient, we generally see new versions of many addons after a mIRC release. Since i dont use ktools, i cant advise where the problem may lie.

what did you mean about changing the shortcut ???

you can create shortcuts to the file, then rename the shortcuts.

You cant rename mirc.exe? excellent. Though others will most likely disagree, i encourage the fact that Khaled is finally standing up to this "lets change every thing about mirc and call it our own" ordeal people are doing. Great job Khaled, and all the more credit to you. Afterall, without your work, there would be no noname.exe, scoop.exe,PaP.exe, ect ect

so im assuming you have a completely standard looking script .. and also have never altered the appearance of windows? i mean come on ... if u pay for it u should be allowed to modify it for your own use... personally thats my only complaint .. i could care less about these ppls scripts where they rename crap.
