In mIRC when you double click on a link it always opens it in Internet Explorer no matter what the defult browser is set to, I and a few others in #overclockers on oz.org use Mozilla 1.2.1 to surf the web and would really like mIRC to be able to interface with it, possibly opening a new tab rather than window in Mozilla, not IE.

This is a reported bug, see https://forums.mirc.com/showflat.php?Cat=...amp;amp;fpart=1 for one workaround

I have Mozilla set as my defaut browser. When I click a link in mIRC, it opens up a new Mozilla window... not an IE window...

Must be something wrong on your side... or Mozilla is the default browser only in your mind, not in Windows :P

hrmmm.. no, there is nothing wrong on my end..in my mind, well..thats a diff subject.

i dont know what version of mIRC you are using, but many many users have reported a problem with recent versions of mIRC opening IE rather than their default browser. Since it IS a reported bug and confirmed by many, i was advising the user of that and the workarounds he can use for now, ie scripting and registry changes. Simply because you dont have the problem is no reason to be condescending to me OR the poster.
