Is there any way to ignore a person's posts in threads so I don't have to scroll over them? Especially if they are lengthy? Like collapse the thread? I don't know too much about these kinds of boards.

You can click on the "Threaded" icon in the top-right of the board, for a Threaded View instead of Flat View. This allows you to click on only the replies you wish to read. You can make this your default setting by adjusting your Display preferences, the 8th option down.

There is no ignore list or other setting to single out posts.

Okay, thanks. That lets me know that there is no way to ignore a specific person. I already knew about the threaded if I remember correctly.
