Hello I was just wondering if anybody knew where I could find a place, where I could get mirc add-ons. The add on I am looking for is, where if somebody PM's you it says "please do not PM me unless it is URGENT" or something along those lines, as I am mod on #somechannel,somenetwork (Moderator note:no need to spam your channel and network here, it has nothing to do with your question. thanks).

www.mircscripts.org has plenty of addons for mIRC, but what you want is simple, just put this in your remotes:

And it will message "Please do not PM me unless it is URGENT." to everyone who queries you unless you already have a query window to them open.

Edit: Just because noone has responded within 7 minutes doesn't mean noone ever will, and asking people to respond after that time period won't make them respond any faster.

you could also do a search on google for mIRC addons or something like this you will see that there are millions of site with mIRC addons...

yeah, the downside of that is so many are backdoored/trojans

Usual General Warning: dont download an addon unless you are totally sure what it does. While some sites check the scripts they offer, many dont.

After seeing a lot of this kind of question, you could make a list with some links to some mIRC scripting related website that are known to check their files before adding it to their database. I'm sure you would save to answer a lot of these questions, and also maybe ask to some authors of tutorials if you can add a link to their tutorials. I'm sure it would help a lot of people... but like everytime, some people won't use the search option or won't look for what they want, they will just ask.

There are some links at www.mirc.com, and of course scattered thruout the msg board.

While a lot of ppl DO actually read the "sticky" posts, im afraid at least as many dont, so we often have to refer them to the one that holds their answer. I'm hesitant to put one up listing scripting sites. Just because they check today, doesnt mean they always will and regardless, any addon should be thoroughly checked before use.
