Lets match these arguments to what volume control calls them and add the ones missing...

instead of: $vol(wave | midi | song | master)
change to: $vol(master | wave | midi | mono out | PC beep | Telephone | etc...)

Plus I would like to see a property or new identifer that returns output levels rather than volume levels. $vol(master).output, returns the current output level in a range from 0 to 65535...

lol

It would be great... I have so wanted a program to do "smart sound" on my PC. I guess most people don't watch TV on their PC, cuz I can't find a program that can monitor output levels and adjust volume levels to output a fairly stable decible level. This would be so easy to do with mirc if it supported the featues in my original post. Those damn commercials are so loud. wink
