Forums mIRC Help How to download using mIRC?

Could anybody please tell me how you download using mIRC from one of those channels with lots of bots and people downloading? I'm totally new to mIRC by the way.

That really depends on the bots, so you will have to ask the people in the channel, rather than us.

since you're new, i shall assume you arent yet aware that
A: much of what you want to download is illegal to do so
B: downloading from strangers is a great way to get virii and trojans.
C: mIRC is a text/chatting program, and far from the best way to download.

Beyond that, in mIRC you can type /help file server or /help dcc
I would also suggest reading here or ask the ppl in those channels for help. While you can certainly do as you want, and i'm not judging what you or anyone else chooses to do, you should be aware of the above.
