Im new to mirc anyways I was using a script in a msn chatroom. I think someone may have did some sorda comand that caused it that looks like this [there name TIME]. ever since that happen the clock on my taskbar now looks like this 00:00:00 and it will not change. in the control panel my time is correct. after that happen I installed mcafee virus scan and there was a virus found coused by mirc I deleted all the infected files. I have rebooted my coputer a few times two and shut it off a few times any help would be gladly apreciated to fix this problem. I forgot what the virus was it was the one that created a bunch of game cracks or crap in your system 32 folder. I think that was the folder. I dout the virus coused it though

The key to all this is check everything you get thoroughly before use. And only ever download from a trusted resource.

MSN doesnt wish to allow users with mIRC. Out of respect for their policy we don't help anyone with MSN related issues. That is your fault for even using commands you don't even know what they do.
If someone told you to jump off a cliff would you do it?

he said he didnt use the command, someone else did, from my past experiences from msn, if its the 1 where it says: $me's local time: your message then that is definitely not what caused it.

Don't you mean past and present? grin
Anyways, it is his fault for using mIRC to connect to the MSN network.

Not his fault? Did you read the MSN policies, I am sure it does NOT say all say all MSN users stick together?

We cannot help you with a script written by a third party, you need to talk to them.

mIRC did not cause a trojan/virus, it was something you did to it.

We do not help any user with mIRC on MSN.
