How can you run mIRC in the background as a service ????

For Win95/98 anyway, you use the command line switch -service
"C:\Program Files\mirc\mirc.exe" -service
DALnet: #HelpDesk and #
m[color:#FF0000]IR[color:#EEEE00]C

Try it and see if it works. The help file only indicates that it works under Win95/98. That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work under WinXP.
