I'm not exactly sure 'how' SSL (secure sockets layer) works other than knowing it uses sockets to redirect/ecrypt bla bla bla info, but i am currently using a third party SSL program which i edited to run as a service to connect to a private network i help run. This was fine to start with as i had the server set to start with win and my mIRC set to connect to the localhost port the SSL service was listening on. However it became quite a pain when the need arised to use SSL on more than one network as i must run multiple sessions of the ssl service.
A built in SSL system (whereby settings can be different for each network/server you wish to run it for) would be great.
