What is the $did property to see if a checkbox is checked?

Sometimes referring people to the help file, on it's own or along with an answer is appropriate as it gives the user a lasting reference to what they are having difficulty with.

If they even bothered to look in the help file they might havefound the answer themselves.

I looked in the help file, and saw state... i even tried it but i must have put a wrong id.

sometimes, people can't find the answer to the question in the "helpfile", and we jsut need to know where to find it in the helpfile so we can find out for ourselves... in most cases, /help would work better then copy/pasting the revised codes you provide.
