Forums Feature Suggestions Multiple popups.ini files

I think it would be beneficial if you could somehow have multiple popups files, like you can with, for example, the remote.ini or script.ini by just adding a number to the filename. like script2.ini or something. I know it would be hard to do with popups but there should be a way to do it. If I had the source-code I'd do it myself, but I don't so I can't.

well yeah it would be nice if the ability to use multiple files for popups wasnt already available the .mrc or .ini files in remotes just as previous post has said ,,,,, also again i dont use popups files at all either for the same reason ..... just nice and neat to include everything into a remote and then sort it by order to allow for where ud like to place ur popups in a menu .... anyhow yeah maybe it would be nicer if u werent somehow able to script a remote ...... LoL

mIRC is using one file by def, but you can use more than one - one for each section if you wish
just use the load/save functions
or edit mirc.ini - [pfiles] section
of course, you can not have two same sections in those files

To the second poster, thank you for the thought but you can't do that the way that I was saying in my original post. You can't use multiple files AT THE SAME TIME for popups. That's what I was trying to say. Thank you for the effort, though.

hmmm fortunatly for me ive got the mirc version that allows u to use multiple remotes files ...... altho im not sure which version ur using ........ :tongue:

Demon, I never once said I wanted multiple remotes files. I said multiple POPUPS files. Thanx anyways. :tongue:
