mIRC should really use the Perflib to get the Uptime on NT machines so it wont get reset after 49.7 days..

7 Weeks 17 Hours 2 Minutes 47 Seconds

that was my uptime before the $ticks and $uptime got reset
on w95(without a pc reboot), prolly has something to do with windows itself

can i also use that perflib on w95? or is it nt only?

hmmm wouldnt it be just as easy to take on a timer and write the uptime of ur script to a ini file for later recal thru $readini ... to prevent the loss of that info after it gets reset?

nope, Perflib is only available on NT systems and thus it seems the tickcount is the only source of getting the uptime of a 9x system.. but well who does still use 9x and/or does get so high uptimes with it... ;}

uh, didnt i say that? because mIRC uses the TickCount to get the Uptime, but the tickcount is reset every 49.7 days...

The moo.dll should avoid to use the $ticks. Actually my uptime is :

Uptime > 5wks 1day 15hrs 42mins 58secs
Record > 9wks 2days 1hr 11mins 57secs (on 21/09/2001)
I'm running XP Pro, the record was established under 2000 Pro.

ive noticed there are several versions of the moo.dll they differ in file size and creation date .... u may or maynot have the same moo.dll being used by aonther person in this forum and maybe u should look around a bit and see what creation date is on urs and search others and test tem to see if they work correctly for u or not ...... altho im not totally sure what differences are in certain once but ive found some u can pull more info with than others.......
