It would be nice if you could make a custom dialog maximized.

Make custom windows instead of dialogs. Sure, it'll take you countless hours longer but it can look cooler and do all the same things, and more.

I don't think it's worth it to go through all that trouble when this could easily be implemented.

In the meantime, MDX allows you to do such a thing.

Thats not really a good answer, I mean what if he has listboxes, editboxes, buttons, etc displayed in his dialog? Not very easy to do all that in a picwin. And even if you do "simulated buttons" and stuff, you can't be the same as a dialog. For example, you could use an img for a button, but how would you ensure that the button matches the XP theme?
