I think there should be a list nick function for the new version of mirc as there already has /list *channel*. grin

Doing that would need a server that supported it, and since none exists (takes up too much bandwidth), it isn't going to happen. The only thing close to what you are suggesting is /who, which stops showing nicknames if there are too many on.

What would this do, list all the nicks on the network...channel? Or would it just list the nicks that match a pattern? If that is the case, /who already does that, match a pattern, and channel too. If ya wanna list all the nicks on the network, that would take a long time, and i dont know if IRC servers do that, list all the nicks connected to it.

What your suggesting is just the /who command, which has a limited output to save bandwidth on most servers, so it is not something mIRC can add as an option, because on most servers it would be pointless.

ok using Unrealircd type /who +s SERVER.NAME.HERE
that will tell u every user connected to that particular server .... ahh ok but what about the other servers in the network u ask ???? lol well simple even yet .... type /who -s SERVER.NAME.HERE ..... that will tell u every user connected to anyserver in the network not named the above .... u can query each and every server in the network for whos on what ..... altho im gonna guess this command would be kinda a pain in the @$$ if u have a large net .... but still its there ......
