hi,

there is a built in command in mIRC called /who
an example would be /who *.btopenworld.com that would bring a list of nicks of users connected to the irc server who are using btopenworld in your status screen, you can do the same for any isp.

---example---
#ef nick H@ ~mask@host***-***-**-***.in-addr.btopenworld.com :0 nick
*.btopenworld.com End of /WHO list.
---example---

I hope this helps

Keep in mind that the WHO command will often not work on networks since a lot of the users are set to usermode +i (invisible). Only people who are IRCops on the network would be able to see everybody on a certain ISP/ip address/ip block.

On other networks, you can only use WHO completely on channels that you are already on.

For instance, DALnet allows this if you use specific "switches/parameters" when using the WHO command.

If your query applies to users on the same channel as you are in and you are updating your (IAL) upon joining a channel,
this can be done by using $ialchan(mask,#,N).

Hi, sorry been away for a few days. cool

ok goto this link mirc.co.uk/cmds.html

and scroll down the commands, and anyone will see the command /who , the command works on the irc server i use, plus a few others, cant remember their names tho now

---taken from the command list---
/who {#channel} Shows the nicks of all people on the given channel.

This is of course just one way of doing what you want, i have a script that uses the /who command, and i have set it up for all the available isp's, and then all i do is select which isp you want from a drop down combo, and then it lists all nicks in a lister box.
