for some odd reason /splay doesn't seem to work with some mp3's at 320 bitrate... 44.1khz and +joint stereo+

it's odd because it seems that some mp3's encoded like that work just fine and others wont play at all.

That wouldn't be a mirc problem, more a media play you have set to default problem. Mirc doesn't handle the media playing, your default program does. >:D

my default mp3 player is winamp, and when I play the songs in winamp, they work properly. :-/

does wma (windows media player) play them correct?

Your default program has nothing to do with it; it's a Windows API that handles the playing. Same one WMP uses, I believe.
