Forums mIRC Help Server name and IP add don't want to apper...

When use commond /whois ,, My Server name and IP address are appeared.. I dont want that. How can i do? pls help me..

Unless the network supports hostmasking there's not much you can do beyond using a BNC or proxy service.

If you want to use a bouncer or a proxy make sure you have read and understood your network's policies on masking IP's. Some disallow it, especially those that use IRCd's that mask the IP for you.

NOTE: There is no way to completely remove the information, such is the nature of IRC. All the proxy or bouncer does is let you mask your true IP.
