Hi,

i have a suggestion, about linking icon:
i think is usefull to add an feature, with the options:
- mIRC Starts when windows starts
- Create desktop icons
- Startmenu icons

(Scriptable & mIRC Integrated)

I know i could do this manuelly, but if i write an script is this usefull and comfortabler.

Well the "start when windows starts" can be accomplished using either a DLL or a COM object to edit the registry. The only thing I'd worry about having such a feature is it makes mIRC much easier to use for trojans and stuff, because you can set mIRC to launch minimized and to the tray when windows starts.

Also for desktop icons, you can already do that. Simply save the file to the desktop. Same thing for start menu icons.

no way, it's going to be mIRC 2003 XP Professional Edition, and probably integrated with internerd exploder & macroshot office building, and yes, it's going to use XML for pretty much everything...

Code:

All these cool names for the new version remind me of this article.
(I know its slightly off topic, but amusing still)

I just wonder what comes after Ti[tanium]. Ur[anium]? Un[ununium]? Er wait, Titanium is a lighter element, maybe next is He[lium]... full of hot air.

-RaCCoON
(Radium Carbon Cobalt Oxygen Nitrogen) crazy

Well. At least I won lunch.

Thanks for that URL, good laugh smile

I love how that guys mind works.
keeping all personal info in 1 place == secure
paying $2.99/month for MS to store the info == a good deal
mp3 == virus
ms repeatedly asking you to sign up for passport == helpful
giving MS ownership of your pc == a good idea
having everyones info stored in one place == more secure than having each person keep it in their own home

And my new favorite quote is: "When an operating system can detect unauthorized content, remove it from your system, inform law enforcement officials, and automatically levy a fine against your credit or checking account, all while you wash the dishes in the other room, that’s one degree of separation."

Seriously, is that guy on crack or something?
