I think there should be some (relatively easy) way to sort the nicklist. i would REALLY like to have a way to have the people i actually KNOW to be at the top! the most obvious thing that springs to mind for me is to base it off the /cnick list. enabling us to put all the people whose names are one color first, then another color, etc. (following this method, obviously the user should be allowed to define what order the colors are placed in) - so long as i can control the sort order and the like, and the nicklist still WORKS, i'm not to picky on the specific details..

there is an -a switch in the /filter command which allows u to sort according to your alias which will return 1/0/-1
it works like that so it moves every time on two lines and compare between them with an ALIAS, the alias should return -1 if u want to replace their place and if u want it to stay like it was u return 0 or 1
note that in the alias, $1 is the 1st line and $2 is the 2nd line

... but only for custom windows. Not #channels.
