Hi, I know this is a little obscure but I can see it being abused:

If you are scrolling the user list on the right up and down, and are kicked from a channel whilst doing so, it causes mirc to crash completely.

I've tested it on a few machines with mirc 5 which seemed fine, and mirc 6.03, which did crash.

Cheers,

I'm using mIRC 6.00 on this machine. In case this data is of any use, I could not reproduce the bug.

I asked an op to kick me whilst I was holding the vertical scrollbar Thumb for the Nicklist of the same channel, scrolling it up and down.

I have Rejoin When Kicked enabled.
No undesired effects.

This has been reported over many versions of mIRC, I've never been able to reproduce it though. It seems to be a Windows issue.

There are more *nix security threats found daily because, there are not 48493 different versions of Windows, where as there are with *nix. FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, PicoBSD, BSD, Solaris, SunOS, Red Hat, Slackware, SuSE, Gentoo, Caldera, Corel, Mandrake, Debian, TurboLinux, Knoppix, Lindows, HP-UX, and God only knows how many others.
