Forums Bug Reports DCC Sends disconnect me? Odd

Starting with v 6.02 I started getting disconnected everytime I would dcc several files. If I type something in a channel after doing a dcc send of a single file, I will get this in the status window:

óRIVMSG Unknown command
-
wIVMSG Unknown command
-

I have deleted the mIRC exe, unpacked mIRC 6.03 and still had the same thing. I have tried /remote off and even deleted what few popups I have, still the same thing.

Any ideas with this?

Get mIRC 6.03

Thought I mentioned toward the end of my post I had tried 6.03 too... But maybe not....

Here's the current version I run:

try /debug @raw to see what mIRC sends to server before you get that wIVMSG Unknown command stuff

Have you checked thru the search feature, all forums? there have been a few about this happening, with some info that may help you. Without knowing more about your setup, would be faster for you to read thru the others to see which if any could apply to you personally.

In addition to the ones mentioned, it could also be your isp, i have read that some are "techniques" to stop what they feel is bandwidth hogging.

I had a similar problem. Maybe I've got solution for you. Try out.

Replying to old threads is better than making new ones, we don't constantly tell people to use the search feature just so they can go ahead and make a new thread anyway.
