Forums Developers Any Media Player, now playing + controls, to mIRC

Hello Frens!!

The amazing Rods at BrasIRC also made this mircnp.dll that shows on mIRC the "now playing" music on ANY modern media player on Windows 10/11. It hooks the internal widget player from Windows toast notification, so it works even with music playing in the browser. Unfortunately it doesn't work with old media players like Winamp and Windows Media Player legacy. But for modern players like Groove, Media Player, Spotify, SpotX, Apple Music, iTunes, works like a charm.
It also let you control (play/pause/previous/next) with commands on mIRC.

The zip file contains the .dll, a .mrc script, and a readme.txt.
The code and the readme are in portuguese, but you can translate it easily with ChatGPT or Claudecode..

Hope you like it
