As codemastr you said, it may be a mIRC bug, that in mIRC if I whois a person who is an sop or founder in his/her whois I cannot click the channel name to join. *#room1 ^#room2 If he is a normal user or has a voice status #room3 or +#room4 I can click on the channel name and join there.
Yes, I'm speaking about this. Why does it work this way? It works for normal, voice, halfop, op. But doesn't work for protected op or founder/owner. If it works for 4 why doesn't works for all?
I don't recall ever saying it was a "bug" I recall saying it is an "issue", meaning there wasn't anything we can do on the IRCd end to make mIRC let it be clickable, but it doesn't mean it is a bug that mIRC decides not to make it clickable.
