Forums mIRC Help Channel buttons have disappeared

The channel and query window buttons on my laptop's mIRC have disappeared, and the status window button now has a dropdown list with the channels and query windows listed underneath. Some of them have checkmarks next to them, and I think the checkmarks mean that there's new text to be read, similar to a button's text turning red.

I didn't deliberately cause this to happen, but I may have inadvertently pushed a key combination, or something.

I can't find a way to turn this off and get back to having one button per channel. Any ideas?

You can toggle this by holding down the ALT key while clicking on the Status window button in the switchbar.
