Hi all!

Recently switching to mIRC from a few other clients (Hex-/X-/Y-Chat and MS Chat [where required for a thing]) so that I can better support my community.

Is there a way, either in options or as a script, to visually distinguish the messages of channel ops? In Hex-/X-/Y- chat, this was done with an option to append @ to the start of the line. MSChat would bold the header and message. I thought maybe it might be possible in mIRC with a specific color? Or one of these two (bold/@).

I apologize; I realize this is either incredibly simple (and I just missed it) or just impossible...but my searches through the forums and documentation (and attempts to learn how it might be possible in scripting) have come up empty the last couple hours.

Thank you so much!

You could try Options (Alt+O) > IRC > Select Show mode prefix

And for colorization, look at Address Book (Alt+B) -> Nick Colors

Well. At least I won lunch.
Good philosophy, see good in bad, I like!
