I've been using mIRC for decades and had little to no problem with it until I upgraded to a new computer running Windows 10. Now, no matter what I try, it won't load SSL. I've downloaded and installed Win64 OpenSSL v1.1.1g and Win64 OpenSSL v1.1.1g Light, copied as many DLLs as have been mentioned in other threads into the mIRC directory, and nothing works. I have no idea how to fix this and I'm frustrated that what I seem to read in other threads is "Well, good luck". Can someone please help me fix this?

mIRC has had builtin SSL/TLS support since 7.35, any reason why you are downloading external versions?

11.Updated SSL routines to allow both static and dynamic linking of
OpenSLL with mIRC. mIRC now comes with OpenSSL 1.0.1h linked
statically, so SSL is available without needing external DLLS.
However, if mIRC finds a newer version of OpenSSL on your system,
it will load that automatically.

Because when I tried to run it without installing any SSL it gave me the "SSL error: ssl not available" error. I've been trying to fix that from the get go.

What version of mIRC are you running?

Only found one post with that same exact error message,
