Hi, with version 7.59 there was a change made mIRC sets the SSL certificate settings to automatically skip invalid certificates by default.

Ok, That's good and all for fresh installs, but It also changes your settings to skip these certificates when you UPDATE the client. This is no good.

So It's not a big thing, but it's somewhat annoying having to change this back to my preferred setting every time I update mIRC. Because I noticed it did this when I updated to the 7.61

Same, but I thought it was just a once-time thing, shrugged it off and updated my settings again.
I do hope this isn't happening with every update from now one.

Nice, thanks for pointing this out, I was checking right at that yesterday and I was like "why does this thing keeps changing?".
