Windows 10 is said to have installed system wide FLAC support, so I think it should already /splay in mIRC. I don't know if FLAC codecs exist for Windows 7 or 8.

Code:
* /splay: unable to play 'D:\...\Armin - Save My Night.flac'

This is on Windows 10 (Insider Build). But if I rename Armin - Save My Night.flac to Armin - Save My Night.mp3, than mIRC plays the file laugh laugh laugh … I think Khaled must add this type of file to audio supports.

Interesting. File this under a bug report then. Change /splay to be extension-neutral and let Windows figure it out.

It's not just the /splay command but also the $sound identifier and remote events like MIDIEND/MP3END/WAVEEND.

Also, I tried renaming several FLACs to MP3 and none of them worked using /splay.

-
* /splay: unable to play 'F:\Music\J\Johnny Rivers\Johnny Rivers - 1991 - Greatest Hits - 01 - Memphis.flac'
-
* /splay: unable to play 'F:\Music\J\Johnny Rivers\Johnny Rivers - 1991 - Greatest Hits - 01 - Memphis.mp3'
-

I tried renaming it to .wav, there was no error but mIRC froze for a couple of seconds and still no play.

RoCk, of course, if in Windows aren't audio codecs mIRC will not be able to play this type of file. I had this error too, when I rename Flac to mp3 and /splay the file, but when I installed K-Lite Codec Pack to system, than mIRC plays the file.
