Whenever I want to access the "channel modes menu"
either by right clicking in the channel and selecting it or by double clicking in the channel it doesn't show up and I get this message:
"ACCESS Unknown command".

This started a few weeks ago with the prev. version and with the latest.

I tried unloading all scripts that were loaded in case that was the issue but it didn't help.

Any help would be appreciated.

Enter this and report back what it shows:

//echo -a $os $version $beta $md5($mircexe,2) $file($mircexe).sig $alias(0) $script(0) $dll(0) $com(0)

What network is this on?

The "access" command is not a standard part of mIRC, so it would not send it unless you are using a script or popup that replaces the standard /channel command. Is it possible that you have scripts or popups that have been modified to use the "access" command?

If you are not sure, one way to test this would be to install a new, clean copy of mIRC in your Windows Documents folder, using the "Portable" option in the installer, and run that to see if it shows the same issue.

I replaced my alias file with the default one and that solved the problem. Thanks a lot !
