Uhm, this suggestion is pretty simple. I sometimes download large files from FServe bots. But frequently the receives time out with a 'connection lost' message. I can the log in on the same FServe server again, get the same file again, and get the option to *resume* the download.

It would be a lot more user-friendly if this would be done automatically, i.e. when a connection is lost, mIRC tries to re-get the file a number of times before giving up completely.

mIRC should know about FServe bots, of course, and there are probably other hurdles, but I think it's all doable.

Or am I a moron and are automatic resumes already built in? I currently have mIRC 6.03, but couldn't find anything like it.

That can be scripted.
IRC means Internet Relay Chat, of course ppl can send you files trough dcc, but it isn't a download tool, so Khaled shouldn't put his effort on something like that.

Code:
//if ( khaled isgod ) echo yes | else echo no
