I have a twitch bot and for some reason mIRC detects people in my chat minutes after they have been there or (in rare cases) 10-15 minutes later. This screws with some of my scripts because it goes off the :join: command and some :text: commands as well. Is there any setting/way to make it detect when people join faster?

This is not an mIRC issue. This is how Twitch's IRC chat works. It batches(groups) together join/part/mode events before sending them to users. This leads to text appearing before mIRC is aware of users in the channel.

I don't have links, but there's a few 3rd party programs that proxy the connection between your irc client and twitch to make twitch's chat behave more like normal IRC.

do you think it would be possible for you to find some of them for me and link? I honestly don't know what to even search. If you find any please paste them here, its just annoying seeing my :Join: commands happen minutes later
