i wanna be able to disable the dialog:close event
like in some common programs, they ask you a question if you want to close it or not

"Are you sure you want to close this window? Yes/No"

im not sure if thats already possible, but i cant seem to do it with the normal halt default "text" methods

Maybe it whould be a nice feature to make it posible to halt the close ...
but that isn't why I posted this reply ...

... when a dialog gets closed the close event triggers, so in that event you chould just open the dialog again ... it whould flash abit, but it's a workaround till it gets added, if it ever will.

on *:dialog:DIALOGNAME:close:0: COMMAND

---
As for your idea I kinda like it... whould be nice if you chould stop CustomWIndows from closing aswell ... (just don't add it for Channels)

---
EDIT: Fixed spelling errors:
- replaced the he with an it
- removed part
- fixed the spelling error in the last edit ... sigh

All I did was explain a way to make it when till that halt-close thing gets added (if it ever will) ... as for saving settings ... well then do it ..

may try the "edit" event for dialogs when a user makles a change, save to a temp var. Then when the final close is intiated, the temp vars are trasferred.
