In the logging section of logging, logs recorded, only shows time stamps [HH:nn], where can you put in date stamp in the logs or can mirc do this. Current format is this

[21:42] * ChanServ sets mode: +smrl 4
[21:42] * ChanServ changes topic to ''

would be nice to have the dates in here also

[21:42,01/20/2015] * ChanServ changes topic to ''

thanks

Try to use this command on mirc editbox: /timestamp -f [HH:nn:ss dd/mm/yyyy] and /timestamp -g [HH:nn:ss dd/mm/yyyy]

You can use any of the values seen in /help $asctime within the options dialog or /timestamp command.

Options (ALT+O) > IRC > Logging > [x] Timestamp logs: [timestamp_format]

For example, I use the format [mm/dd HH:nn] which prints out [01/27 14:48], and assume the year will appear in the log's filename. You can use any format you choose as instructed in /help $asctime

You can set this in mirc options:
Options ---> IRC tab --> Logging
Tick the box that says "Timestamp Logs" and in the box right below that, type in: hh:nn:t
In addition, tick the box that says "Include Network" and "Date Filenames". That ought to do it.
