As a suggestion you could add an identifier that can be revalued on a line of text with particular frequency the time, without sending a new message at channel.

I tried to make a clock, who shows the time second at second, in real time.

All developers agreed, that's impossible without sending a new message at the channel.

So you don't want other clients to see this text, only yourself? You can accomplish this in ways other than having the text in the channel buffer.

If you want other clients to see this text, the very nature of the request is impossible. Nothing can be done about it.

In his previous post he was requesting it to trigger on a text event and update through msg # so that other users would be able to see it.

The only way I can see to make this happen would be to distribute a mIRC client to all users in the channel with a script that handles channels with custom windows with features to delete and replace a message with something else.
