I've been using mirc for about 6 months now and I recently upgraded my computer to a p4 3.0 800mhz fsb. I have 1 gig of pc3200 ram installed. Prior to that, I was using an athlon 1.4 ghz with 512megs of ram. I did a clean install of everything. The problem I'm having is mirc will run for an undetermined amount of time, then crash. I've checked through the event log and this is the message I keep receiving.
The application, CL\mirc\mirc.exe, generated an application error. The error occured on 5/17/2003 @ 02:55:07:812. The exception generated was c0000005 at address 00559D24 (mirc!__unlockDebuggerData$qv)
This is the same error I constantly get, just the times and dates are different. I've tried just about everything I can think of, including reloading the OS (Windows XP Home) several times, but always with the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
