I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 64bit.

For some reason mIRC 7.32 windows are displayed with round corners.

Is this supposed to be like this when running mIRC on Windows 8?

The round corners don't go away even with a clean install.

Internal windows? Yes, they're supposed to be like that in so much as they were never designed otherwise.

There's another thing... I don't know if this a bug or something.

Here are the prints of my screen.

The first is when the internal windows are not maximized. The second image when the internal window is maximized.

Note in the second image that theres a blue line on the right, it won't disappear.

I wonder why.

Not maximized:

Now the maximized window (blue line still there):

Windows displays MDI windows with rounded corners, so that is normal. As for your second issue, with the maximized MDI window, this has been reported in the past when there was an issue with the graphics card driver. If you update to the latest version of your graphics card driver, that may resolve the issue.
