I am unable to see chat conversations. I am connected to many channels. I can see joins, parts, mode sets, topic changes. I’m able to send and receive PM’s. I’m able to set chat topics and modes. I can send out a chat in main chat, but I’m un able to receive chat messages from main chat. And they do not show up in main chat. Everything else works.

This issue still happens. It happened today 8/19 even with the newest version. You cannot see chat conversations. For instance if you use Ustream and you go to your channel via browser flash chat and you are connect via mIRC. And you type something in flash chat. You can see it via flash chat, but not via mIRC.

Anything on your ignore?

Using a usermode that hides channel messages?

ALT+O -> Other -> Lock -> Disable... anything disabled?

Nothing on ignore, lock or disable. This seems to happen when it disconnects and then reconnects. Not every time though. Just every so often. Then I have to re install mirc.

Update: 9/24/13!

After several years of dealing with this issue. I have found the problem. Under the "Address Book", "Control" tab "Ignore" was enabled and these two new entries were put in. "*!*@*(ct) " and "*!*@*(t)". And the Channel and Ctcp was check marked. Why and how these entries are put in is beyond me. Again, this only happens once and a while. Only after a disconnect and reconnect. But not on every disconnect and reconnect. I have spoken to several other people that this has happened to also. It seems to just be a glitch within mIRC that happens some times.
