Because I am behind a firewall, I find myself needing to use the DCC Server port 59 method for sending files thru mIRC. Is there a method other than asking the person receiving the file, of determining the ip address of the receipient?

I thought /dns <nickname> does the /userhost step for you, transparently.

Well. At least I won lunch.
Good philosophy, see good in bad, I like!

/userhost doesn't always return the correct address since some IRC servers hide the begining of the address to provide additonal security on their servers.
