With the new class of devices coming out with smaller screens, I am noting an issue with font scaling on the tablet.

In my case, I have a Surface Pro. The default resolution is 1920x1080 with a 150% scaled font.

mIRC's text looks fuzzy and blurry and somewhat difficult to read.

When enabling the compatibility option of disable scaling on high DPI displays; mIRC's text looks great but is now super tiny.

Please re-work the app to handle this.

Also, a metro-based IRC app would bring in a lot of cash; please release one!

Thanks.

Thanks for the bug report. The next version of mIRC will include better support for non-standard DPI display settings.

Thanks for this, I use Windows 8 on a retina macbook pro and I've really been suffering from this! the text is simply tiny and I didn't realise that I've been straining my eyes smirk....look forward to the update!

Edit: wait, I got my dates wrong. Has this been implemented? It's still not fixed for me, mIRC 7.29 smirk.
