Bug.

If you use Ctrl+F (Find) in an active channel: While clicking "Up" repeatedly it will frequently jitter down to previously viewed lines. This is likely (but unverifiably) due to new text entering the channel while you are clicking "Up" and it loses track.

This behavior is observed in 7.29 but not 6.35.

Yep, I've noticed this as well, although I have not been able to reproduce it so far. My impression is that it does not (just) happen as a result of new text being added though.

Glad to see you've finally upgraded btw Raccoon :P

You both seem to say the reason is new text added so I'd check that, and you can check that easily, i'm not sure why you said otherwise

Wims: If it's so easy to test and confirm, why haven't you?

Sat: I still use 6.35 as well. Not because I have scripts that are incompatible -- I've written everything to work in 7.x as well. But because mIRC 7.x cannot handle ExtASCII within the same bounds of conformity as IRCd and other clients, making it encounter incompatible and exploitable conditions in the wild.

mIRC 7.x cannot ban what it cannot see.
