For the past few days, I have been unable to connect to bondage.com, and eventually get the message [10101] Host disconnected.

I have not made any changes to my mIRC or anything else.

I can connect to other servers.

Other people I know are able to connect to bondage.com.

I contacted my ISP (cablevision) and they said they are not blocking any ports.

Can you please help me figure out how to connect? Thank you.

Try a different server within the network?

Connect and try "/map" or "/links".

If he could connect, there wouldn't be a problem.

You can try irc5.bondage.com or irc6.bondage.com

Sorry, wasn't really clear in my original post. I connect, but then nothing. Can't get a ping reading on myself. Can't identify. Just absolutely nothing happens, even though it says I'm "connected". Then I get the error message after 20-30 minutes.

I tried logging on with irc5.bondage.com and irc6.bondage.com Still have the same issues.

Any more suggestions please? Why would this only be happening with one network and not others?

You could try disabling any anti-virus or firewall software to see if that helps.

You could also try downloading mIRC again from the mIRC website and installing it in a different folder and using the "portable" option in the installer (so that it does not overwrite your current settings and scripts). Now try connecting with this copy of mIRC. If that works, this may indicate that a script is causing the issue.

If the issue persists, and you are able to connect to other IRC networks without any issues, this may indicate that the IRC network is not allowing you to connect for some reason. You would probably need to contact them through their website to see if they can help.

Thank you Khaled. I re-downloaded mIRC as you suggested, but have the exact same problems. I've contacted the network via email and am awaiting their response.
